The Baby Plan is an exclusive membership documenting the first year of your baby's life. We'll capture three important milestones, and you'll get the option of adding on maternity options exclusive to plan members.
It's an opportunity to reserve your sessions at a significant savings; it also ensures you print your photos in a beautiful, handcrafted heirloom album at the end of the experience!

Do you travel for sessions?
Yes, I do! All of your sessions include travel within 6o miles of Fairfax, VA (22030). For sessions outside that range, a travel fee may apply. Let me know where you're interested in having your session, and I can give you a custom quote!
How does the pricing work?
To join the membership, you'll pay $800 at booking. Then you'll pay $900 at each additional milestone session. If you add on a maternity session, you will pay that balance the day of the session. Please let me know while booking if you want to add on a maternity session to ensure availability on my calendar.

I noticed you shoot film and digital. What does that mean?
I'm a hybrid photographer, which means I shoot with a mix of digital and film. By film, I mean old school, physical rolls of film I send off to a lab to have developed (not video)! I use film because it allows me to slow down as an artist and be extra intentional with every photo. It also gives you soft, creamy tones that are simply not replicated in digital photos. You'll receive your film photos as digital scans, so they will be easily integrated in your final gallery.
What is the turnaround time for editing photos?
You can expect your photos 4 weeks after each session! You can expect to see at least 35 edited digital images in each session (although you often get more depending on how everything goes)! On average I deliver 45-55 photos for an hour session to give you an idea. The photos will be delivered in an online gallery.
How do we pick a date for the newborn session?
Instead of picking a specific date, you'll reserve a newborn session the month of your due date. Then when baby arrives, you'll simply email me to set up the day/time of the session. It's best to take photos within 3 weeks of baby's arrival - when your little one is sleepy, snuggly and oh so tiny! Note: all newborn sessions take place on weekdays.
What is the best location for each session?
Newborn photos take place at my natural light studio in Sterling, VA, or your own home. Membership includes traveling within 120 miles roundtrip of Fairfax, VA for in-home newborn sessions. If you live further away but want an in-home newborn session, an additional travel fee may apply.
Maternity photos can be taken at the studio or an outdoor location. The first milestone (6-8 months) is best at the studio. The one year milestone can take place at the studio, an outdoor location, or your home.
What days are sessions offered?
All newborn photos are taken on weekdays. All other portrait sessions mostly take place on weekdays. The occasional weekend (Friday evening through Sunday) spots fill up far in advance with an additional $150 fee due the day of your session.
